Update on my colonoscopy 😸

Hello its been some time since my last post since then I haven't passed a blood clot in my stool and I've had my colonoscopy.

I had my procedure done in late July and I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. I'm glad it wasn't anything too serious causing my clots, and I'm taking steps to eat foods that won't trigger my condition. The GI telling me my insides looked like they belonged to an old lady was a wake-up call lol. Thank you to every one who sent me well wishes on my journey and I'll be sending prayers and positive energy to everyone still on their journeys. 😸

Hi there. Glad it’s nothing serious for you. Can you advise me as I have one next week and I can’t decide whether I should go for conscious sedation or gas and air. The recovery is much quicker clearly with the latter but I’m also scared ! Angie

Thanks for sharing your news to us! That’s very good news for you. May I ask if you had a lot of cramps earlier? a lot of visits to washroom each day? Or just regular stools with a few times of blood? I am very worried ...
