Farewell to my beloved wife..

Hello HH Peeps, - 6.2 years ago my beloved wife was diagnosed with stage 3, Colon Cancer. how ever her fight against Cancer started long before when her mother was diagnosed with Brest Cancer in 2008.

My wife was very active in the fight against cancer, she did the 60, 20 and 5 mile walk, among many others. If cancer was a batallion it would probably would have said "lady you want to fight? will have a long battle"

She started her most noticeable symtomes one night in May and the next day went to the urgent care where she was sent to the Emergency Room for ruptured appendix, once at the ER they found the appendix intact and instead the doctors discovered a golf size tumor that pretty much was concluded it was the most fearful word we wanted to hear. "I am afraid it is Cancer" the doctor said. we have to have surgery as soon as possible!

Three days later the Pathologist confirmed it and ''we need to start treatment" as soon as possible the doctor recommended.

We starter Chemo, 18 rounds. very tough rounds, for almost a year. A year later exactly on the same month of May, Again, The Cancer never left and we need to give you another stronger set of Chemo treatments

Seeing my wife so tired and so willingly to continue fighting, we decided to seek a second opinion. we end up in a "City of Hope" but the doctors there stated that whatever treatment she was getting was the right for her and they would have given her the same chemo treatments.

My wife starter doing research on her own and found some cancer treatment clinic in a border town in Mexico and we ended up booking an appointment and started to go there, going there was very hopeful.

At the same time we decided we were not going to do chemo treatments any more and decided to communicate with our doctor which was not taken very well and was stated that they were going to sent her to hospice and that she only had 18-24 month to live. this was 1.5 years in to it which at this time she would be past half of her life spam for a cancer patient with stage 4. this was confirmed by the doctor in May when we were told cancer was still part of her body and never left.

After 1.5 years in California, 2.0 years in Mexico 6 months in Arizona, 1.5 years in Central Mexico, we headed back to the States to continue the fight in California. After five and a half years away on the road we decided it was time to get back home and try different medicine here. Back to City of Hope, then Beverly Hills Cancer treatment center.

Six years have passed, we have come a long way my wife looked healthy but reality was her cancer was slowly spreading.

We decided to take a vacation for seven days we came home and the end came right after.

One morning she took a soft breath and to heaven she went.

I will forever love you darling.
