Folivane Plus Cap to keep hgb in normal range ?

I am 87, since 3 years on Imbruvica for CLL. My CBC is now always normal, except hgb is slightly below normal. Two month' ago my hgb dropped yet a bit lower and the hematologist prescribed Folivane Plus Cap to avoid the need for iron injections. After one month of Folivane Plus Cap pills with iron, minerals and vitamins, hgb was normal. Since then my hgb again remains slightly below normal range. I asked the PA on the team of my hematologist, whether I could try taking SOME Folivane Plus Caps during the month to micro-move my hgb into normal range and keep it in normal range on an ongoing basis. The PA who specializes on Cancer patients agreed and recommended 3 Folivane Plus Caps per week (instead of one per day). Let's see what happens ! I get a CBC every month and if this works without negative impacts, my CBC could remain normal.

I went from iron infusions to the Folivane Plus daily for about 3 years but now take it 3x a week….have picked Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week and I have now done that for a little over a year! It sure beats iron infusions! It works great for me and I sure hope it will for you too! I do get labs done once a month and receive IVIG. I am in a very good place. I have had CLL for 33 years…..life is good!

Thank you for this encouraging confirmation ! I have CLL since 15 years but only need treatment since 3 years. In my case Imbruvica functions perfectly. I keep diet and exercise , plus "music therapy": Here for you the envirogating 4 music videos YOUTH ORCHESTRA BAHIA TICO.

Try: JOSEITO MATEO EL NEGRITO DEL BATEY . Joseito Mateo was a legendary "Merengue" singer and died a couple years ago at 98 due to CLL ! He sang his last concert at age 96: JOSEITO MATEO CONCIERTO 2016 .
