Both Barts and Royal Marsden have world renown CLL specialists.

BMBs are matter for discussion with your hemetologist...

I see Dr Samir Agrawal at Barts. He is a CLLSA trustee. This has given me access to new treatments before local services can prescribe. In particular he discouraged me from having FCR 3 or 4 years ago because he was concerned about the long term effect on my bone marrow (I am 11q deleted). It has only been over the last few months that this seems to have been more widely acknowledged. I was an early non trial patient on ibrutinib which wirked brilliantly. I can recommend him

Guys hospital has a new specialist cancer centre with CLL expert Piers Patten who presented at the recent CLLSA London conference. He principally practices at Kings College hospital in the leading haematology clinic - where I am treated.

UCLH also have a large CLL clinic and I’ve found them to be great.
