Kasai procedure surgery

Hi , my son is 7 and half months old . He had a kasai procedure at 4weeks . His stool colour is not well pigment it’s very peal. Some time it looks light yellow and very few time it looks dark . His scan reports is ok but hiss GGT levels are 1331. I am worryingly about him , can anybody suggest me anything to improve him . Many thanks

Hi Mahum I am Farah and my son is also 7 years and three months old and he had kasai at 62day of his life and sometimes his stool color is also pale I will update you his blood test reports further. Which hospital he is going for treatment mine goes to Leeds. Cheers

They say that after kasai you need to worry about direct bilirubin only . You can start giving Himalaya liv 52 . It’s an Ayurvedic medicine .( discuss with your dr then decide ) It might help . It has helped some one in this forum . Don’t worry . Stay positive . And keep talking to your dr . Worrying will not help . They say that at some point of time after kasai you have to have liver transplant . This is not to scare you . Your child has done well till today and he will keep doing good in future as well .
