I had my gallbladder removed in March 2021. I am experiencing dull pain. GGT changed from 47 before surgery first to 90 and to 124 now. ALP is a bit high 140. ALT is slightly high. Doing fibroscan in June. MRI and ultrasounds showed all in tact. Really? Well, I can't exersise, I lose weight, and it is quite miserable. Did some antigen tests this week and waiting for results. My gastroenterologist said it is fatty liver. Then we will know more after fibroscan. Amy similar experience here? What constantly hurts under the right rib?
Hello there. Hope that you are doing ok and getting the answers that you are looking for? May I ask you what lead to your gallbladder removal? I have high ALP....172 as of last week...was 132 6 months back. I'm booked for an ultrasound next week but till I meet with my doc and have additional tests...I don't know what I'm dealing with! Good Luck to you !
I had one large stone. Frankly, the surgeon told me that removing gallbladder may not solve all pain problems. And that is exactly what it is. However---my GGT before surgery was close to normal- 47 , after the surgery -124. Other LTFs were better too before the surgery....
