I'm almost 4 years post transplant and doing well. Recently I have been having kidney problems so my consultant has reduced prograf to help protect my kidneys.
I have gone from 11mg per day to 8mg as well as 500mg twice a day of cellpet (mychophenolate). The last few days I've been experiencing tiredness, dizzy spells and nausea. I feel really out of sorts, awful to be honest.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced reactions like this or any adverse effects to liver from reduction to immune supprescents?
I'm having bloods done tomorrow at my GPS surgery, which I'm sure will be fine just thought I'd ask others. GP can offer so much advice but to his own admission, I probably know more about liver transplant and life after.
Many thanks
Lisa

Hi , could you have picked up a bug ? as I would have thought that reducing your prograf would have maybe stopped the feeling your having , my kidneys played up not long after tx for a fair few months before they started to reduce my prograf I'm down to 2mg morning.n night now n things have started to get better .your on quite a high dose of prograf still maybe it may need reducing again , getting your bloods done will tell you anyway , good luck with everything )))
