Last week was a bit busy and all my runs were very short but today I got out for a 5k along the route of the local heritage railway line (Northampton & Lamport Railway). My last 5k was in -6 temperatures, today it was a comparatively warm 4 degrees, much more pleasant. Always an interesting route along the Brampton Valley Way with quite a few old trains and rolling stock to look at on the way. Happy running everybody π
A nice 5k in more normal temperatures - Bridge to 10K

Sounds a great place to run! Iβm guessing itβs relatively flat too.
Bit of a difference in the weather too! No frozen fingers today π
Happy running!
Yes, it is totally flat and also what I call and an 'out and back' type route, quite good if you have set your goal on certain distance. You run half the distance then you turn around and you have to do it in order to get back to where you parked the car π

I love a railway path run. There a few round here and I did a lot of my half marathon training long runs on one so it was just increasing without the extra hills to contend with. Youβve got a super one there and it sounds like you absolutely made the most of it. Nice one!

We have a naughty one in these parts with three steep inclines! Thanks for the tip off - this is now going on my list of places to visit.

Looking really great... the old railway runs... love them... I love the Peak trails near me !
