Finally got out there again this morning! And it felt soooooo goood!!!
Over the past 4 weeks, I’ve been a bit miserable, with a heavy flu that followed another illness and my subsequent recovery going sooooo sssllloooooooowwwwwwww…….
So over the last 4 weeks I only managed to do two little runs, just to keep my running going, as I was so anxious of being thrown back to square 1!
What helped was that indoor rowing was easier to do once I had recovered sufficiently and I managed to squeeze in quite a few walks as well. So my aerobic fitness didn’t suffer too much, although I did sometimes have to cough my way through a row.
But finally this morning, a little 3k run, which happened to be the 3rd run of the first week of the NRC 10k plan.
It feels like I’ve not been thrown back too much, even though I might repeat this week once I’ve finished.
But it does feel so good to get out there again!
