1st Trail Run 🏃‍♀️ 🌲🌳 back since I completed C25K on the roads.

6K of pure BLISS

There’s something to be said about running on trails , yes it’s harder, undulating and often you feel like your skating on thin ice BUT as opposed to running on the road - TRAILS give you Calm, Fresher Air, Wildlife, a sense of Peace and a sense of sheer accomplishment for battling that hill , the rugged terrain the deep puddles the sloppy mud and for also being brave enough to run alongside Deer and Boar without 💩 ing oneself 🤣🤣.

Give me Trails any day. I’m so happy I did that this morning

That scenery 😍😍😍 You are absolutely right-trails are the headspace gift that just keeps on giving. Work’s been a bit busy so I’ve mainly been on the roads. I think you’ve inspired me to ditch my planned route later for one across the fields-that you!!

Keep the photos coming and keep enjoying the trails!!! Very nice to see you over here!

aww thanks lovely and yes the scenery is just my favourite. You don’t get that on the roads . Plus on the trails it’s time away from the humglum and hustle and bustle of life … trails will always be my favourite. And yay go you . Go for it . Can’t wait to see how you did .

There really is nothing much better than being out there with nature.

I'm curious about the boar though - that sounds a bit dangerous? Deer just run away but boars definitely aren't cute little piggy-wiggies, I find them terrifying!

Yes they are loads more boar than we usually see or have and now they are getting closer to the main road as well.. bloody massive they are and do lots of damage to lawns and verges etc . Deer are beautiful and just stare at me probably questioning my run gear 🤣🤣🤣. Boar usually just stare to it’s when your walking with a dog they get a bit scarey as they are naturally only defending them selves and their young . Yes the little piggies aka humbugs are cute
