Todays run was a mixture of road and trails but as usual, it was being amongst nature which made it special. ๐ Running along the trails, following the deer prints, spotting a beautiful Jay and with the woods now full of bluebells - this is where I find my happy place! โค๏ธ ๐โโ๏ธ The weather was (mostly) dry and a mixture of sunshine and cloud - perfect running weather. Although they are drier than of late, some of the paths and trails are still muddy, so I was glad to be wearing my trusty Hoka Speedgoats - especially running across a very marshy part of the run which I thought would be drier than it was!๐ฏ
All done and now planning for next weekends 10k to be purely on roads in preparation for the Great Bristol Run 10k in a couple of weeks.๐
Happy running to all this week and hoping that anyone stuck on the injury couch is back out there soon.๐

How beautiful to be running among the bluebells Sandraj39 . The trees look so fresh too, having just come into leaf . Good luck with your road running 10k. I hope you get to meet cheekychipmunks at Bristol, I did my first chip time race there in 2019, but on a slightly different course. Super music all the way round.
Yes, it was my first big event too, Dexy. I remember the support on the course was fantastic.๐ I will be running it with my sister and my OH is doing the HM.๐
How beautiful! I love the look of that trail. It is deceptively wet in places here still. I'm planning on a run later but lots happening on the farm so fingers crossed I can get away! You sound very prepared for Bristol.
