I finished Runkeeper 5K plan today,-… well, it got me rather to a continuous running of 30 minute. And joyous it was.
It’s the first time this year that I ran a continuous 30 minutes,- as I have done quite a bit of jeffing lately or coming back from injury, . But the 30 min felt strong and great!
The plan with audio guided runs on Runkeeper is fab, and very manageable despite its short 6-week duration. It works very much with giving you the choice on how much to push forward or how much to pull back. So it’s very adaptable.
Also, the coaches very much believe in breathing through your nose in, out through your mouth. And the 6 weeks have allowed me to shift into that mesmerising pattern of breathing, which can only be a good thing.
I might just keep the subscription for another 6 weeks and continue on to their 10k plan, which should get me to 60 min running.
Happy running, everyone!
