Finished C25k last summer and completed my 25th parkrun yesterday. I've not reached 10k yet but that's my next goal. The furthest I've run is 7.5k . I follow the Nike app so I'm doing Sprints Hill work outs and Fartlek runs and loving my runs I just want to say how proud I am of everyone that gets out and runs and not to worry about time because that comes in time.

Good luck with your goal - if you’ve reached 7.5K then 10k is not far offf!

Yep, I had a slow 10k trail run this morning - definitely not about the pace! It was tough and SO muddy but I felt so proud that I am still getting out and doing this running thing!🤣🙂

Fantastic! It sounds like you’re doing brilliantly. Someone once told me if I could run 7.5k, I could run 10k (I was feeling nervous about an event) and they were absolutely right. Before you know it, you’ll be celebrating a new milestone.

You’ll spot a lot of us doing similar runs to you-is it the 10k app plan you’re following? Ima also part way through. It’s such a nice way to spur each other on. Enjoy yourself! Can’t wait to hear how you’re getting on!

Hi Tessie, I’m the female version of you. Same age, similar running history. My first 10k ‘race’ will be this Sunday 24th. Did my 25th Park Run last weekend (after C25k - twice!) and have been building up as a slow runner to this 10k. Feeling pretty nervous but excited to get it done. Love just getting out there and running using NRC or just music and being part of this community. Well done for getting this far too x

Thank you so proud of you I'll definitely get to 10k and get under 30 minutes for 5k. I'm not far off the 30 minutes mark.Good luck with your running and Tessie is my border collie lol x
