Fairy houses, frosty runs and hot playlists

This morning’s run was 3.7k, more than 4k with all the warmup and cooldown walks.

It was cold!

(But the music I ran to was all about summer and heat. I’m trying out if it keeps me warmer 🤣🤣)

4 layers on top, woollen bobble hat, gloves, and scarf.

But I’m well into my plan and I’m slowly but solidly expanding my distances for continued running again, after a phase of jeffing.

Today, I reached my lovely fairy house again, which denotes the halfway point of a 4k out and back route. Someone even put a mini-Christmas wreath on it. Just so cute!

I love the fairy house 🏠 . There is a tree I pass every time I walk my dog that really needs one. I might have a go at making one sometime.I'll be interested to see if the music works 😂

Yeah. I’m not sure it works better. I loved running to the ice cold playlist just as much.

It's an interesting idea though. I remember a couple of years back when we had weeks of really hot weather I kept playing the sound of the ocean to make me feel cooler.
