45 minutes in the treadmill

Not a lot to say about that really, it was wet and windy when I got up this morning so parkrun wasn't happening, granddaughter and I went later to the gym where she rode a stationary bike while I did the scheduled fartlek run for 45 minutes. My treadmill looked out to sea and I had music in my ears so it was ok, then we sat in the steam room, I stood outside to cool off and watched a runner struggling against the wind. Felt a bit envious then went in and we lay on warm benches. My view, obscured by rain and not a sea I wanted to swim in today but I did see a kite surfer pass by really fast.

Kite surfers seem to be utterly bonkers - the colder the water, the bigger the waves, the stronger the wind, the more they seem to enjoy it. Brrrrrr

Yes but there was only one out there, I have seen videos of them jumping the pier

😀I never thought of it like that but with watching the music on and headphones the time went quickly, but I'm not tall enough, when I got hot I turned the fan in that went straight over the top of my head
