Morning run yesterday in Jersey along St Aubin’s Bay. Lovely scenery and negative splits for once! 😁

For some reason I thought I was going much slower due to the delicious Thai meal and a few beverages the night before, so very happy with the run 😁. Such a beautiful place!

It is so pretty and the promenade route is perfect for running- well maintained ( I’m always worried about trip hazards!). Lots of runners out at 7am, all going way faster than me, but I don’t feel the need to compete thankfully 😂

What a lovely place to run. I’ve been to Jersey a few times but wasn’t a runner then 😕

Great photo … and run !

There are so many bays to run around! Running more inland would be a bit challenging as the roads are more country lanes- have taken lots of buses in the last couple of days and I’m amazed how the drivers can take some of the corners! I never realised how beautiful this island is. So glad I chose a short break here and was able to squeeze in a run.😊

And well done for those negative splits!

Thank you! Certainly didn’t feel like negative splits when I ran, so a nice surprise 😊. It was refreshing to run a completely unknown route and interesting how my perception of my pace was so wrong 😁

lucky you! Beautiful place to run 😀🏃‍♀️

There’s the old railway line to run on which is lovely. I got on it at Corbiere end and ran it to its end on the street at St Aubin. I ran a few times while there.

I’d love to return and run more of the island

Hopefully another run tomorrow if my legs have recovered sufficiently from the last 2 days of long walks 🤞😊
