Misty Run in the morning

A quick run this morning up and down a hill path. Also focussing on light, and fast(er) leg turn over.

(Mine are still relatively slow, though. But as I audio-recorded quite a bit of my last running journey, and listening back to my slow step-step-step step noises my feet make, I thought I could do with a bit of focus on cadence. )

The mist was really beautiful. Glad to be a morning runner.

A lovely early run for you, I keep trying to get up early enough to see sunrise over the sea but not managed it yet

🤣🤣🤣 it gets harder now, as it gets earlier and earlier! But this kind of weather also nudges us to get out earlier!

Good luck with catching that sunrise!

What an interesting idea! I do the 1 second everyday app so sometimes my second of video (and audio) will be me running but hadn't thought of it as a learning tool.

That’s intriguing! Yes, my recordings weren’t meant to be for learning but I have learned a huge amount by listening to them.

Will have to look up that 1 sec app!

Clocks change this weekend so that might help the earlier mornings. Makes it a long day when retired getting up at 6am, different when I was working .

ahhh good reminder about the clocks. I’d almost forgotten about that.

Beautiful photo, very mysterious (oh just realised….mist..erious 😂)!

Can you explain about recording the audio of your run?

Mist…erious 🤣🤣👏👏! Good one!

Recording: yeah, I have been experimenting with putting a music & talk-on-the-run show together, so I have recorded the whole 6 week plan. It tells me when to start and stop running but plays my own choice of music. It’s been great fun putting it together and I will continue using it for myself next time I land on the injury couch and have to train back up.
