Thanks for the ideas and suggestions... I downloaded the NRC first speed run to do this morning and loved it! In a past running life I did the c25k speed run quite a lot but really enjoyed this NRC one. I did my 5 minute walk, then the warm up 5 minute jog before starting the intervals. I LOVED them!! The recommendation to feel like I was running strong was great, I could get a real sense of what that meant. And as for that cheeky last 30 seconds.. that was so much fun 😁 I finished with a super slow 5 minute jog and 5 minute walk.
My new updated consolidation plan is to include one of these every 3rd run and to look into some more of your great suggestions

I like the head starts and finish lines ones, but I like all of the ones I've done so far, I just like the chatter, and I can listen or ignore depending on what I'm looking around, I've found round the roads and along the seafront I actually get home and realise I wasn't listening but along the track alongside the river where it's a bit samey, track and trees I listen more. When I did my long run (13k) over the downs on a misty murky day it really kept me going .
It might even be more than that! Just looked mine thinks I’ve complete 45 runs but on my all time stats, I’ve run 194 times. Some of those haven’t been guided runs but certainly not over 150 of them.
Well done. I've just got in from doing that very same run. I loved it too and will definitely be running it again. That last 30 secs caught me out too! Happy running 🏃♀️
