Just had a wonderful week in the Lake District beside Derwentwater. The start of the week was unpromising as it was so splashy and muddy underfoot, but that soon drained to access some glorious running on paths and trails beside the lake. What a way to start the day, running in super fresh air, having the place almost entirely to myself and the birds. Initially I thought this week wouldn't count towards my magic plan schedule, but Garmin disagrees, so who am I to argue? Particularly as I've been credited with an extra notch on my VO2max and it has obligingly knocked 2 years off my fitness age, win win! I know I'm too late for Oldfloss's croissants and a cuppa, but next time eh? Happy running one and all πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

That brings back happy memories! I ran week 6 of c25k at Derwent water - the first time it ever occurred to me to take running gear on holiday with me! It's where my username photo was taken 😊
