3rd holiday run not so good

This is the start of my run this week. Yesterday I got 2.5k out then felt unwell and had to walk back - and it was so windy that I struggled to walk! Anyway, it's been lovely πŸ˜€

Oh dear I hope you are feeling OK now. Looks a lovely place for a run.

I am fine now thanks Sue. It was a short-lived thing, I was ok after half an hour πŸ˜„

My word, that looks inviting. Running to the horizon and back

Sorry you felt crook but that's the way sometimes with holidays. Change of food and water etc, can upset our digestion, body clock. Hopefully it's nothing and you'll be back right as a cart tomorrow

Lovely running, yes - and I was absolutely fine after half an hour- just needed to get back but couldn't run. The wind nearly knocked me over πŸ˜„

Get well soon! Looks like a great place to run and I think you've been bitten by the "running tourism" bug.

I am fine thanks. Yes I now look out for possible running routes on going away πŸ˜„

That looks fab! 2.5 KM is not to be sneezed at, enjoy your lovely runs!

Thanks cg! I managed 4 & 4.5k runs earlier in the week so to finish off with 5k would have been nice πŸ˜„

Well done on getting out whilst on holiday. I managed a sneaky 5k on Thursday morning which was a struggle due to hayfever. Medication fixed that issue for a 5k parkrun this morning which was fun. It is funny how being away can upset the norm and affect our running. It's great to get out though isn't it.

I think I've walked along that path in the middle of winter. When the wind blows it's cold. The boats' rigging doesn't half rattle in the wind. Much better in the summer though. Enjoy the rest of your holiday :-)

It wasn't cold last week, but very windy on Friday! The rigging was rattling away, quite noisy! Lovely part of the country, I'll definitely be back. Home now and unpacked, not mentally ready for work tomorrow πŸ˜₯
