I was woken up by thunderstorms at about 3 am, went back to sleep safe in the knowledge that 7am would be much cooler than its been all week.

WRONG! 😂😂😂😂

I’m still redder than a beetroot and I’ve been home an hour.

Was nice to be out though everything smelled clean and fresh.

Have a great Sunday

well done! I go red after 5 minutes of running and stay red for a good while after! Tomatoes unite!

we had a bit of rain overnight but it's still muggy, send the thunderstorms this way!

Congratulations to you LulaHula on running that hot and humid 8K/5 miles, just by coincidence I met a runner at the end of her 5 miles run when I was doing my 16K bike ride this morning, she told me she was training for running a 10K, I mentioned parkrun to her, she may try parkrun in the future.

I’ve never done a park run before. When I started running my son had football on a Saturday at the same time. To be honest I'm a bit scared of not knowing what to do when I get there. Appreciate that everyone says its friendly but I get a bit overwhelmed with new.

I have downloaded the app and i follow 2 of my local park runs on facebook so should probably just get on with it. I’m in Cornwall next weekend so maybe I’ll add it to my July quest, I’d not done one of them before either till this month.

Any advice anyone has would be appreciated. Thank you

People at parkrun are all very friendly, you could go to one in Cornwall and run or walk and talk to the park walker or tailwalker when you are there on holiday, you will be welcomed.
