Glad I took a break after Saturday’s horrible run.
This morning’s was a lovely relaxed and easy 5k listening to Coach B’s “A Hot Run” guided audio. I can’t believe how quickly the time passed. My final km was one of my fastest for a while - not sure how that happened as it certainly wasn’t planned!
It feels so good I want to do it again! How different to 5 days ago! 😊😁😁

Brilliant 😊 we all have those runs where we wonder if it's worth the effort and we come back despondent, then all the sweeter when a run goes really well. And that last kilometre? Bonus
I saw that you completed your Hills run in the heat! Well done! I’m putting my NRC plan on hold for a few weeks but hope to keep things ticking over with a few short runs.
That’s such a good run report. It can be really hard to shake off a tough run. Now you’ve had a good one, that’s a great mental reset. It’s not easy in the heat so you’ve done well there. It’s so great when those unexpected fast kilometres pop up!
Coach B is such a legend. I think he’s carrying a lot of us through the weather!
