Fast walking the park run today

The dressing and cast comes off my hand and arm on Monday, hurrah! I haven’t been able to get out other than for a few walks, so I decided to walk this morning’s park run. It was a very hot morning with no cloud and almost no breeze.

I enjoyed doing a brisk walk and managed 44 mins for the 5k, so was happy with that 😁. I’m going to pick things up again once my hand and arm are ok, hopefully soon.

The photo is from my usual morning run, I like to say hi to the cattle!

That’s a super time! Congratulations! I bet your arm will feel wonderfully free on Monday. Sending loads of recovery wishes your way ❤️

We’ve got some lovely cattle near us too. They’re so nosey and so funny. I like that there’s a fence between us though!

Very well done. 44 minutes for a 5K parkrun is a super walking pace. Hope you heal back up again soon.

That's fast walking! I expect it was good to get out to do that parkrun and on such a hot day walking seems sensible!

That's how long it takes me to run 5 k at the moment so you must have been very brisk! Glad you have the cast coming off Monday! Nice cattle to say hello to :)
