Along the Regent Canal

After 5 nights away I got back into London last night, straight off the Eurostar. This morning I was up and doing a warm up walk along the Euston Road and towards the canal.

it was cold but as soon as I started to run I quickly warmed up. Ran as far as Camden Lock (about 16 minutes) then turned around and reversed my track. Passed some baby Canada Geese and lovely views.

I'm happy with the slow 35 minutes and now on the train back to home, at last 🥳

I’ve walked it lots of times but since I started C25K and kept up I can now run it too, I’m really happy! It is indeed a beautiful stretch of canal. I wish I stopped to photograph the baby Canada Geese as they were gorgeous but I don’t think I’d get going again 😆

Love the regents canal. It’s very pretty. I ran that a few times. Those bridges can be a bit scary though especially with those cyclists competing for the same bit of tarmac as you. 😱

Fully agree, happily it was early-ish on a Sunday morning so not quite so tricky 😁
