Hello lovely runners. Towards the end of August 2019, I completed the Bridge to 10k and ran 10k. Someone ( can’t remember who) commented 10 miles next. I thought to myself no chance, 10k is hard enough! A few ups and downs in the next few months and some weeks I really struggled with my running. During lockdown I started to increase my distance and also started doing Pilates. So .....on Wednesday morning I ran 10 miles. I see I am in very good company as AlMorr also ran 10 miles on Wednesday. I might think about a half marathon but no more!

Congratulations Raspberrypink on running 10 miles thats an amazing distance reached.

I also thought 10k was enough at one point and before you know it you're pushing yourself even more.

Once again well doneπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

10 miles is a fantastic milestone (sorry no pun intended πŸ˜‰) a half marathon is a great goal. I remember feeling like I could do anything after doing mine. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Thank you. Yes I’m thinking about the half ........

Congratulations Raspberrypink. Reaching 10 miles is a real achievement, especially when you have found runs tough recently. It sounds like you are doing brilliantly now though 😊. What next? πŸ˜‰

Thank you. I think I prefer 10k as a distance but I might try to run half a marathon. A friend is trying to encourage me to enter a half marathon event (when they’re back on) but I’m not sure , feels a bit daunting πŸ˜‚

Well you never know until you try....... I last said that to myself at the start of C25k and now look. I think you might surprise yourself πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Congratulations and well done on your 10 miles!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ It's a great distance!

Pity that they will probably have to cancel October's Great South Run this year - there aren't a lot of 10 mile events and it's a brilliant event!

Good luck with your running - have you been over to the Marathon Running and Race Support forum. They have an Autumn HM group if you are interested? πŸ™‚

Wow impressive- well done. Me and a couple of local ladies are working our way up to 10k .... we are up to 8k. We did twice round Dovestones on Monday night. I was amazed we got that far. Going to have another go at that again on Monday and try for 5k round the Stamford Parkrun route on Saturday.

Well done again and dare I say what’s next?

Thank you very much. It’s quite a tough run round dovestones especially if the weather is bad. Good luck for your 10k, you’ll get there 😊I did Stamford Park parkrun route the other weekend. That hill doesn’t get any easier !

I did it again today. If I’d been on my own I’d have walked to Ray’s corner on the second lap.. or set off for home
