I just wanted to say a little thank you to everyone here on Bridge to 10K. You are all amazing, supportive, friendly people. In an online world full of toxic environments it is extremely special to have a lovely warm and welcoming place to visit. I don’t post too much, but I do read a lot of the posts here. Questions are always answered and everyone is respectful and helpful. Truly amazing.
I also really love reading the post parkrun reports every weekend and that has turned into a lovely little virtual Parkrun community. Thanks to everyone who takes part.
I’m only still running because of all you wonderful people. Thanks for being so amazing. I genuinely appreciate you all.

I fully agree with you Damien that this is a very supportive and friendly community and I also read and contribute to the parkrun reports each weekend.
Two things regarding parkrun and (not) parkrun for me this week, this Wednesday I will be running my 150th (not) parkrun and on Saturday for the first time I will be the tailwalker at Palacerigg parkrun, something to look forward to 👍
That’s so nice @damienair. We all have our ups and downs and it’s great to know that there are people on here who can advise or just listen when things go wrong, or share the celebrations when things are going great.
Thank you too for your weekly parkrun post. parkrun is a natural progression for many after doing c25k, and your post means the forum isn’t totally swamped with individual posts on a Saturday. On your post we can all have a chat together and share the buzz of our events.
And so say all of us...well said you...and how true. I'm not a regular PR runner...but I love reading the posts ...The folk on our forums are the best.
So so true. I couldn't agree more. This is an absolutely BRILLIANT community. I know that even if I'd made it to the end of C25k I would never have carried on running without it.
Copy that Damien. I'm not as active on here as I used to be but it's a special community for sure, and you are a big part of that too. I haven’t plucked up the courage to do parkrun yet - I have only ever run alone. Maybe one day.
Thank you too, there are no park runs where I live, my nearest one is over two hours away and going by the speeds there is a speedy one, so your parkrun (not)parkrun post is one of my regular reads so I can live vicariously through you all
Thank YOU damienair ! I agree, this is the best community bar none, and I often simply read posts and smile. Never a nasty word, everyone’s encouraging, running has been therapy for most of us, we all have highs and the occasional lows which we can share knowing there will be a friendly response from people we’ve never met (although I’ve now met quite a few!) 🥰
Your PR post is the highlight of my week too, and I spend many a happy hour on the sofa reading it on Saturdays!
