Keeping going, slow but steady

I’ve been doing steady, regular runs over the last week and I’m feeling pleased with this. Over the last 5 days I did a 22 minute run whilst in Cornwall. I missed the park run as it was absolutely pouring down but I went out along the route later that afternoon and managed a fairly steady plod for about 33 mins. Just before leaving for a work trip to The Netherlands I did about 22-24 mins run yesterday.

I won’t get out now as it’ll be dark when all the meetings have finished but still hoping to do the park run on Saturday. I’m hoping to be able to run the whole 5k before the end of the year … but let’s see!

Thanks as always for the encouraging postings, I find them so inspiring. .

That's really encouraging, well done! I'm afraid my running has taken a back seat for the last 10 days due to dental work and a bad neck, oh and of course all the rain! I'll get going again on Friday I hope.

It took 13 months for me to get to 5k. You’re doing the right thing slow and steady and you will get there
