Tuesday was my 14k run day and there was a severe weather warning in place. It had rained all day and there was no break from the strong winds. The rain had slowed down to almost a stop when I reached my sister's house after work, we still put our rain jackets on and started the run. Not even half way through, the weather turned worse with thunder and lightening as we just reached the park. A couple of laps and suddenly it turned into heavy rain, I had not even recovered from the shock of the sharp rain on my face and it turned into hail! And we kept running.
I told my sister, I used to see these people running in rain and think 'what madness!' That night, I officially joined that club 🤣
There is no escape from this weather if I want to continue with my 3xruns a week during these Winter months, so I decided I might as well learn to run with it *sigh*.
Next week is 'setback' week as suggested by @nowster. The long run will be 8km.
Then 15k the following week and hopefully 16k the week after that

Well done - your progress since C25K is very impressive!
When nowster says a 'setback' week, are you sure it shouldn't be a 'cut-back' week, one in which you deliberately reduce your mileage/volume a bit , usually every 4th week or so?
Ooooh thank you John_W . So far so good, touch wood. I some times think how just 6months ago when I started c25k I could not run even 1minute without being short of breath.May be I used the wrong terminology, from what I gathered, it meant a shorter long run. Hmm 'set-back' does sound negative when I think about it, I am sure it wasn't meant to be a negative word in this context.
