I did a naughty 👿

Conference today which was very interesting and not as long as a work day, but came home hot and tired and for some reason hungry even though we had been given lunch.

I’d planned and saved for today the 15 minute run of week 2 of the NRC HM plan even though it is the first run of each week. What I hadn’t thought of was that Coach B talked me through the week and I’d already done those runs.

No matter, it was all interesting, and for variety I turned the other way after crossing the bridge at the river, tide right out today and running towards town.

My mind, that I’m not always sure where I got it from started mumbling about running the 15 minutes, then starting run 1 of week 3 and my silly legs got talked into it 🤣🤣🤣

So I arrived at the town, a few people out for evening walks, ran round the block, it’s only a little block, got to the end of the run, stopped it and started the next one, took a photo and off I went again. The river from a different direction, interesting, before I knew it I could see the bridge and ran on, slow and steady.

This run made me very happy although a bit unwise. It was slow and steady and Garmin tells me I got negative splits. Just

10.14, 10,08 and 10.04 I’ve run faster and I’ve run longer but with the increasing running lately I’m running stronger

Oh boy it’s hot, it’s clouded over and the breeze off the river was warm and I loved it!

Be happy run free

Ooh, to have some fresh air for running, it was 37deg here today for my cycle home from work. Running in this heat is a bit out of the question for me.

I was down your way last week, here is an aerial view, you can see the river.

I did thanks but I’ve decided to take a rest day tomorrow, we have so many plants to put in the garden and that really needs doing so tomorrow is garden and sunbathe day as my day off

Thank you 😊 thank you 😊 and let’s not talk about the pain in my leg that I think started with the JD strength thing but was definitely no fun last night, a few rest days coming up

Great to see you really back out there and able to enjoy the running. Much too hot for me - anything above 16° and I'm a purple radish 🤣🤣. Now a dip in the sea sounds rather a good idea 💡 💜 😁xx

It’s too hot to run this morning and i’ve got a bit of aching going on but a dip in the sea is very tempting I love days off 😀

It must be great to walk in the sea after a run to cool down and relax those muscles.I am 2hours from the nearest beach (Toulouse)
