Great run after a break

Due to a lot of driving, a highly calorific wedding, and topped off by a ruddy cold, I had a nine day interval between runs.

So set off this morning at 6.15 for my usual Sunday run. It was wonderful - no rain, breaks of sunshine, loads of birdsong and not one single car the whole distance.

Two hard hills and a final gruelling one, no problem. It felt so good to be alive this morning 😀

That's a nice run you had on Sunday morning HeavyFoot after no runs for 9 days mainly caused by among other things a cold, a nice and early run on quiet roads with no traffic makes the run even more enjoyable with the birds chirping away, all the better that you ran up those 3 big hills without having to walk, well done.

It was great, Al. That final hill has had me walking a bit recently, but not yesterday.

Well done on the hills. 🦵💪These bright sunny mornings are great for an early run. If only it could be summer all year round! 😂
