Global Running Day 1st June 2022

I realised today that Global Running day is coming up next week on Wednesday.

I like these kind of special days, so I need to quickly think of something special to do related to running on that day. Annoyingly, I’ve got a work meeting at work first thing in the morning, so that counts out a run in the morning.

I might do a special row-run after work on Zwift, from which this pic is taken.

Will have to have a think.

Is anyone else planning something special?

I might try a 10 miles run on Global Running Day next Wednesday. I haven't ran that distance since last October.

Hhmm… that’s got me thinking 🤔 Wednesday, you say? My diary is a bit like yours that day, full-on from first thing. Something that can fit around that??🤔🤔 Something extra special?? 🤔🤔🤔 I hadn’t heard of Global Running Day.

Yeah! Just did a whole hour of rowing a runner, and no badge! 😤🤣🤣🤣

But was a great row, and I got a special cap! 🧢 (virtual, but special! 😀)

Not sure what I'll be doing on Wednesday. I've decided I'm too drained today to do my planned long run. Perhaps I'll start the new month with a morning Half Marathon...

I notice the trailing runner in that Zwift image has her hair in a bun. I wonder if that's because animating ponytails is hard? 😆

Huh 🤔 (animation of hair). I might have to focus on hairstyles next I’m on Zwift! 🤣🤣 My avatar’s hairstyle is half length and loose, and I’m always seeing myself from 1-2m behind me, so will have to note what my hair does! Intriguing! 🤣🤣
