June 2022 Quest completed!

Hi everyone, I’m happy to report I completed my quest for June 2022 today, with a 10K run by the seaside at Bognor Regis! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ The Red Arrows were at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and apparently flew over Bognor. Sadly I didn’t see them though πŸ˜•

As many of you will know, I was injured for quite a long time (at least it felt like that πŸ™) but I’ve been gradually building back up using various C25K runs along with guided runs from the NRC app.

I’ve also used some of the recommended strength and mobility exercises on the Recover app (which is free to those who subscribe to Strava as I understand it). I’m sure these have helped keep me injury free.

I’m so pleased to be back out there running again and I’m immensely grateful for all the support from running friends on here, Strava and at my running club. Thanks everyone! πŸ‘

Brilliant. That really is good news David. Consolidate there for a while and then you can start building up for the Great South Run again. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘

Thanks Dexy5 I’ve got the virtual London Marathon 2 weeks before the GSR, so I’m following a novice-level marathon training plan nowπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘ After the marathon, maybe the GSR will be a doddleπŸ€” (or maybe not!)🀣
