After the London Vitality Virtual 10,000 I ran two weeks ago, this morning I ran my 26th 10K, I set out to do two things, to get a sub 60 minutes 8K split and a sub 75 minutes 10K, I managed both, my 8K split time was 59.26 and ran the full 10K in a sub 75 minutes time of 1:14:18, all in all for me that was a gentle 10K, about five minutes slower than two weeks ago.

A gentle 10K
Well done AlMorr - impressive!
Very impressive! Well done on achieving both your goals, a great 10k for you 💪🏃♂️ 👏👏👏
Thanks, I might try for 16K /10 miles sometime this year, perhaps in a fortnight.
How exciting! Have you done 10 miles before?
I have ran 5/10 mile runs, the last one was on October 6th 2021 which was my fastest, run in a time of 2:01:02, so it's high time to have another go at that distance.
Oh wow, 5 already! So you'll know what to expect. Good luck with it, I look forward to reading your post about your 6th 😁
Go you xxx We do have our moments us seasoned runners, don't we! I remember my very first 10 miles!!! So exciting!
That is correct Oldfloss, I also remember my first 10 miles run, it was raining but I just continued on until the run was completed, it was so exciting 😊👍🏃🏾
It was raining when I did mine!!! Xxx
If the rain isn't too heavy and it's not blowing a gale I will be running as normal, very icy weather is dangerous for running in which case I won't run. 🏃🏾
Ice is a non -starter . X
Yes but after a run I enjoy an ice cream swirl, I did mention that in my recent report on finishing that London Vitality Virtual 10,000, when I came home the ice cream was delicious 😋.
That’s a cracking run there, well done. You did what you set out to do! That’s brill AlMorr 😊🤩😁.
Well done AlMorr so impressive. Brill for a slow pace!!👏
Another great run under your belt, Al. 👍
Well done my friend...you just keep on clocking up the kilometers xx
What a good run Al, sounds like you enjoyed it too
Great running, Al! Well done for achieving those goals 👏👏👏👍
Good discipline Al. Running too fast too often is a recipe for a short cut to the IC…don’t I know it! A good solid sensible run. Have some ice cream!! 🍨🍧🍦
