This last Sunday was my Second Runniversary and with that day’s run I hereby officially declared myself having fully come back! So this is the last of my comeback posts, being fully engaged again in running, rowing and various strength and mobility workouts!
And of course, I celebrated this second anniversary by going out for a run, and then reminiscing about my two-year journey! (see my celebratory post over at the Couch25k Forum healthunlocked.com/couchto5... )
How far my legs have taken me over the years is amazing, and although I have returned to a C25k programme, my legs and I are at a totally different place!
I am still watchful and monitor my various physical weaknesses, my back, my knees, my toes, but I’m running again, I’m still rowing and I’m continuing to have fun in my workout corners in the house and outside!
And I had been hoping that this week I would be also finishing the long journey of End2End’s RUNLEJOG! But I still have 50 miles to go, and I know better than to push myself beyond my limit! But that medal will be special, as it was the first virtual running challenge I ever entered. Slowly but steady!
So this is the fitting end to my come-back posts!
Upwards and onwards!
