We’ve had a bit of a break from running. I had a health scare and between appointments, storms and worry we’ve done nothing much but next week a barrage of tests start and if they aren’t in a hurry I’m not too scared any more, so today being a day off we discussed going out, took some pain pills, then waited for Willows watch to charge, then syncing music, then a few cross words but we got it sorted out, then of course my earbuds started messing around but eventually I had Pink Floyd and he had Coldplay so we were both happy 😃 walking to the car I realised a bathroom break would have been a good idea but we’d faffed enough so we went.
There’s flipping temp traffic lights over the railway bridge but it didn’t take long and we were in the park where the row of very tall poplars are still standing which I’m pleased about after the storms we’ve been having.
Walk round once, run round twice, sun shining just a couple of dogs, non smiling owners plodding on. Walk a bit and that’s enough, it seems that our nearly 2 weeks non running, sleepless nights, long hours at work and eating crappy food has affected us so we’ll try and build up again while we wait for the tests and answers.
We’re alright and the sun is shining, what more could we want?
Happy Wednesday everyone

Thanks, I’ve passed the oh my goodness what if stage and now at the … well they can’t be that worried if i’ve got to wait another week and a bit so I’ve put the worry behind me and getting on with work and life
Good to hear that you’ve been getting out and running again and sending best wishes re your health. That photo is gorgeous, nothing but grey skies here! I did about 32 minutes running yesterday, in my continued efforts to consolidate the C25K programme and build up my running so that I can, one day, manage to run the entire park run 😄
Thank you, and you are doing well too, spring is coming and that’s the best time to run, the blue sky was wonderful but gone by about noon and rain forecast again for tomorrow
Sorry to hear you have a health issue. I always enjoy reading your posts - so descriptive, jolly and positive. So keep calm and carry on and I'll be rooting for you 😉
Sorry you've been having such a tough time - typical of you to be so positive about it. I absolutely love to go for a run when there's nothing I can do but wait - helps me get my head in a better place. Sending lots of love and good energy your way 💕
I am sorry to hear you’ve been worried about your health, it’s very stressful. But very pleased you got out and you feel more positive - that’s a lovely photo. All the best! 😊😊😊
Good luck with your test next week. Always a trying time, but you know your VRBs here are with you sending a our positivity and love. That warm spring sun, those tall trees still standing and new buds unfurling despite the storms are surely a good omen. 🙏🤞🏃🏃♀️🙆♀️
I’m so sorry to hear about your health scare Sola and hope the tests come out ok for you 💐💐Good luck with the running build up - I know it won’t take you long! The winds were pretty exciting last weekend weren’t they, glad to hear you came out unscathed! Enjoy the sunshine ☀️!
I wish you well and hope that everything turns out ok for you. Huge Floyd fan here. Particularly fond of David Gilmour’s guitar playing 👍 something I painfully try to emulate at home. 😂
