W9R3 just setting off

Earlymorningrunner profile image

Hi, it's my first time here and the last run of C25K today. I'm just lacing up my trainers. Feeling pretty excited and looking forward - with the support of this community of likeminded souls - to bridging to 10k this time around. (I'm a five time C25K graduate- cum- stopper!) Here I go. Wish me luck...

Good luck to you Earlymorningrunner for running your graduation run of C25K today, take it slow and steady, after you have completed the run, report back here, you will be very proud of yourself, enjoy your run.

Hi AlMorr, thanks for posting. It does feel amazing to have got here. You were right about the slow and steady, I think I set off too fast, like I had to be great today, but then I got my rhythm (sp?) and slowed down and my breath steadied and I was in it. Quite a buzz.

Hi! Wow, I feel sooo smug. Such a good run and almost to pace. Weirdest thing... Having checked in here, I could feel a bunch of runners behind me! No one there, of course, but it felt like company, which was cool.. So, how do I go on from here? I don't want to lose it this time. Are there good plans out there?

First of all, claim your badge: healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

And then consolidate the 30 minute run for a few weeks.

And then there's the Magic Plan. healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...

Thank you. Just amazing to get a response so quickly. This is my first on line group, so I'm not used to the etiquette or the speed of things. But just thank you, that's great.
