I had a long coach trip from Wales to Yorkshire today. I'm staying in a hotel next to the canal so needed to stretch my legs and of course I went for a run πŸ˜€ I did 10km for the first time ever. I'm so proud of myself I started C25K in March and can't believe how far I've come. It's helped my mental health so much and I just love it. I just wanted to share my joy!

Congratulations on your first 10k... what a great achievement just a few months into your running journey. Celebrate this milestone well, you deserve it.

Mental health is up, so is physical health and that fitness level is way above the average person. Where next? Keep on loving it, keep on telling us about it too... you’re inspiring many others.

Happy running.

Ha ha my garmin tells me my fitness age is 63 - I'm 52!

Maybe, but it will be moving in the right direction. The average person can’t run a mile apparently.

Exactly and I'm very proud that there's 3 of my friends at work who have seen the difference in me both mentally and physically and they've started exercising and running.
