3.12 Km in 30 minutes is not ripping up any trees. But it is my first run since 4 October. I had illness and an injured calf plus my booster jab on Sunday. It is so good to be back. I will build up slowly and definitely do some strength stuff this time. I hope to be back doing a gentle Parkrun next Saturday. So relieved, and best of all - no injuries.
So many other people on this forum have long term health issues or really bad injuries. I won't take my health for granted and I'll be more careful from now on.

Thanks. I was going to say it was my best ever run. I certainly can't remember being so glad to be out (my 10K "race" 6 weeks ago was the last time I felt so good. I passed a dog walker I often see, I had only walked past him in the last few weeks so even he was pleased to see me in my running gear.
Glad to hear you're back on it. I've also had a couple of bouts of injury, plus lack of motivation earlier this year. Coming back to running is a joy isn't it!
