Back to a comfortable 6k

I haven’t posted for a while, but felt the need to share ..... just completed W2 of JuJus Magic Plan again. Haven’t done more than 5k for a good while as I have been have deep tissue massages to heal old injuries. I have always been competitive since I started C25K and have been dogged with injuries.

Lack of experience (thinking I was fit as I have always exercised), stubbornness to carry on and not quit and being competitive. All of this combined nearly made me throw the towel in😢

However I have carried on following the advice of the sports injury health professional.

Forget being competitive, I’m a new runner. Slow running is the way forward back to actually enjoy running again and staying INJURY free.

Lessons learned and added a enjoyable slow 6k to COGH 🏃‍♀️

Happy running to everyone 🤗

Yes we are stubborn. I’m just going to be careful and not rush things, so hopefully I can get to 10k.

I do hope that tomorrow goes as smoothly as it can. My thoughts are with you x
