Here's hoping π itching for a longer run but think I will do a strength training day tomorrow, maybe a 5K afterwards..rest day Sunday and see if I feel ok for a longer run by Monday π€
If you're also doing strength training and since you're running on consecutive days maybe go for a shorter run tomorrow? Just in case (I'm always on the side of caution!) Whatever you decide, good luck Monday! πͺπ€
Skipping was going well for a few sessions, had researched,.. been running for 9 months and thought all was fine.. only took three jumps that morning and I knew I'd done something.. just a little twinge but still put me out of running for a few days πI'd warn anyone to be very cautious π
So pleased you have managed your 5k without pain. Itβs like dipping your toes in water and testing the temperature. So you slow 5k was probably the sensible thing to do. Itβs rubbish when you canβt do what you want to do. But today is definitely a positive run. Brilliant π
