Just missed out on hitting my target distance last week as Garmin is set to miles (by choice) and target was in kilometres so set out to do better this week. Felt slow to start, but it always does, but felt better as I went on. Got to the distance I thought I needed to do but thought I would do a bit extra to make sure. Then got to the last stretch of my usual route that I always enjoy so had to run that didn't I? End result - I passed my 10k target and ended up doing 11.75! Go me! Who would have thought I could do that when I started C25K last year? Certainly not me! Now to improve my speed.
Thanks to everyone who gave me tips about hill running. Will work on that too now.

That’s a big WOW! don’t worry too much about speed, it increases naturally a little at a time but hills and the odd faster pace will help it along, well done you
