I DID IT ... 10K🤩🤩🤩🤩

I finally did it. I'm happy I pushed myself to do it , I felt quite tired at the end but after the cool down walk I feel ok.

Every time I get to a certain distance I always remember how hard 60 seconds felt when doing wk1.

I'm glad I stuck at it as I LOVE RUNNING.

Off for a nice warm shower then out with the dog.

That's brilliant. I knew you would do it, determination is your middle name! I'm stuck on 7k with a sore knee that is making me cross. I think I'm going to have to find a physio as I'm not getting anywhere on my own. Enjoy your achievement. It's pretty special.

Thanks. You've probably already tried this but take a few or more rest days and I found deep heat really good for knee ache. 😊

Oh thanks buddy. Rest I have tried (but perhaps not for long enough) but not deep heat. Do you mean the stuff you can get in a tube or just warmth?

Yes the deep heat cream and I think you can apply it a few times a day and just before you go to bed.

I'll give it a go! I'm getting really fed up with it! Fine when I run but really quite sore afterwards! Husband thinks I should have two or three weeks off so maybe I'm being impatient!

Sometimes rest is the only thing that will help, give it a go the runs will be waiting when you're ready. Good luck 😊

Im in the same position....took extra rest days but knees started hurting on a run too so had to stop....had 10 days off now and itching to get back out there....maybe try a short one Friday...if no better im at the point of searching for a physio.

Ice packs help with leg elevated and i am waiting for knee sleeves....hope your better soon.
