I was volunteering at a flu clinic this morning and decided to run after this, at 11am. At 7am, when I couldn't drag myself out of bed, it wasn't raining. At 11am it was spitting. But I took off down a lane and into a muddy path. Felt good, jumping the puddles, finding a least sodden way through. Emerged onto a single track road that wound up a hill and into the distance. Chugged up that and on a bit then decided to head home through our village, then back up to where I'd left the car. The rain had babies and I started to get pretty wet. And really cold, despite the thermal. By the time I reached the car, I wished I had had a flu jab! Deeply cold, right to my core. Shivered home and had a really hot bath and now I feel great, like I could do it again! Should have taken a pic of the mud, sorry about that!

Well done for persevering. Not great when you get chilled like that though....
