Running in the rain 😁🌨

I really enjoy running in the rain and it was quite warm today too so that was lovely too. Managed another 5k but I have a niggly ankle not really sore but I’m conscious of it all the time) ( had it for a few days now) and my side feels like I have stitch all the time too ( waiting to hear back from hospital for next scan) so I don’t think I’m going to manage my planned 11k for 11/11. So I will do another 5 at least on 11th and I am going to plog my way round and do something useful. And if I feel better on the day I will go further but I’m not pushing myself at the moment as it’s quite painful when I run.

I’m still doing my Pilates to keep my flexibility up and waking regularly but even the walking is quite uncomfortable now. Think I’m going to ask if they will drain the kidney cyst although I don’t really want to go to hospital at present πŸ˜–πŸ˜‘

Anyway home now and the sun is shining temporarily and I’m glad I went out there this morning. Now I’m having a coffee before I make Chelsea buns and scones to have with my homemade Hedgerow Jelly later.

Have a great days running everyone 😁🌨πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‹

Good 5K run for you today Limberlou in the rain β˜”, well done, you have given me a idea to run 11K on the 11th of the 11th which is this Wednesday as my mid week run. I hope your ankle heals soon.

I’ve been doing it for about 15 years. My teacher now has a website which I can access anytime and just pick which session I want to do. She has recorded loads and loads and does live classes every week too.

She is. And she will always help if any of us have any particular issues or injuries and tailor the class to suit our abilities

I empathise with the ankle. Have had 3 months off with ankle injury and have just been working my way back to 5k with 1st one yesterday. It all takes time hey, hope you see an improvement soon.
