Vitality Run World Cup

I think quite a few have asked about the Vitality Run World Cup which started a week or so ago.

As there is still an old team from our Healthunlocked community up there, many of you were able to use that team, but I think each new person who wants to join that team will need to be approved by the owner, which I am not sure who that is.

So I set up a new team called:

HU Team 2021

To go straight in, use the invitation link:

You should also find it when you search under teams, but I will then need to approve. (Teams are multinational, so I think it only looks English as I chose for my account to run for England)

One thing to note is that in order for your runs to qualify for being used towards the countries total, they need to be at least 30min for 3k . (So I’m not qualifying with my Niko Niko running, but I can still track my runs on that app)

Huh! Does it mean it says still pending? Somehow I thought this would be automatic when set to public, and I can’t see a place where to approve your request to join. Bear with me as I figure this out….. (rummaging in my toolbox…)

I did use that app and there is a Healthunlocked team, a little different from 2 years ago regarding countries, no Team GB but the 4 home countries are represented.

Hi @CBDB I've requested to join your new team now. Didn't have any of the trackers listed by VRWC so have manually uploaded my NRC runs I did this week with screenshots of the stats. Hopefully they will accept these. Have now added the Adidas runtastic tracker so will use this going forwards. 🤗

Just make sure it’s the team called “HU Team 2021” and not our old team, where I’m not sure the owner is still monitoring.

I think if you hook up Apple health or google health, it’ll put in the whole weeks of running. (If you tracked it on there). That’s what it did for me. Running trackers are also an option.
