Man I'm missing getting out there! ๐Ÿ˜”

I did 55km last month by finishing with an 8km which I was pleased with. The plan was to have week off whilst we were away in Wales and life has been hectic ever since...

We ended up coming home with a puppy which was unplanned and a day later the kids were back at school and my partner started her first job where she would be out the house working for the first time since my son was born in September 2017 (Sept 2018-March 2020 she was childminding.

At the moment I'm still working from home and thankful to have a trusting employer. I have the kids from 3.30pm-5pm or 6.30pm and my running always took place first thing which I'm finding hard to get time to do (or even the energy for that matter). Hopefully once I catch up with work I can maybe start to get some 30-40 minute runs back under my belt at lunch time and from Monday the dog can start going for walks so that'll help with my step count going over 3000 a day (that's the average at the moment!!)

Anyway, please meet Dylan whilst sharing any advice on dogs/life haha ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ด

I find running programs very useful when I need to 'find time' for running. Running for fun means that we often skip runs, because we're not pressured. When I did C25K as well as ultra marathon training , I simply had to find time, easy or not. What matters is not how difficult it is to find time, it is how good we feel once we've reached the target. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh, what a bundle of cuteness! I hope it wonโ€™t be too long before you are able fo get out there again, you were doing so well. Slotting a run in at lunchtime may be the way forward for you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh Kish he is so deliciously cute. Hubby and I have two black labradors . They are uncle and niece. Of course they are not pups anymore. Jack is 10 and Myfanwy ( Welsh for beloved) is 6. However She still thinks sheโ€™s a pup ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Dylan looks so loyal and Iโ€™m sure heโ€™ll be a well loved family member! He could run with you too? .๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

Well that's an adorable excuse for not getting past the door! I think you should still try and squeeze some mini runs in, even if it's just for 15 minutes before breakfast or at lunchtime, for your own sanity as well as keeping everything ticking over until you can get in some longer runs. Have to add a sneaky good luck to Mrs Kish on her return to work, you must both be feeling it at the moment!

Dylan looks awesome! As a man with a dog and two new pups I can tell you they ruin your morning routine! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I like to be up and out the door but now have to mess around with pups cleaning, feeding etc so my runs are getting later but the pups are amazing and make me smile everyday.

If your struggling for time just have a quick 5k, only takes half hour and your done for the day ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป I like to get up and have my run done before 6am so gives a lot of extra time in the day to do everything else.

Busy busy busy !Puppies are such time wasters but worth every minute !

Enjoy your time with your children and puppy and try to find a slot for your runs in soon-it'll be half term before you know it and then it's bye bye routine again!

Have fun.

We also unexpectedly got a puppy last Saturday and I havenโ€™t run since the day before. I wanted to put a photo on but canโ€™t in comments. Sheโ€™s a beautiful tri coloured border collie called Elsa ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I have uploaded a photo on the website but donโ€™t think itโ€™s showing on the app ๐Ÿค”

Hope Dylan is an awesome running partner. My cocker spaniel Willie is so lazy but he is a show Cocker.
