Had to share this. Guess we could learn something from the latest research on how two-legged dinosaurs picked up the pace:

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ so when did we lose our tails??? 🀣🀣 Great find!

Bring tails back. It’s clearly what we need. An evolutionary reversal.

I think the dino in the film needs to work on its cadence, but has a very nice, light, ground-skimming (β€˜flossing’) foot strike.πŸ¦–

Very gazelle-like action!

😁

Though I think a fat tail like that would get in the way of a fine set of glutes. Maybe that’s why we ditched our tails.

Plus their arms are way too short to be any good. How on earth could they read the stats on their garmin?

I've often thought that we don't get told to move our arms in a certain way, but we do without thinking! All about balance as it states - now I know our instincts go back to the dynosaur days! Best wishes ☺️

Yes thanks Gail, I'm OK, plodding on towards a 10k - one day!

Well, maybe if you grow one of those tails….!

Great to see you and to hear that you’re running.

Is this why so many lady runners have ponytails? 🀣

I think that adversely changes the centre of gravity.πŸ€”

Coincidences! Now you have a rationale too. πŸ˜‰

Love it, do you think plastic surgeons will start doing a roaring trade in giving people tails now πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ¦–πŸ¦•

Brilliant! But I imagine the connection of tail to body needs to facilitate expressive and functional movement.

I'm very relieved to read that the swinging of our arms is the comparison....at first I was wondering how I was going to swing my bum🀭
