Confounding the laws of physics? Speedwork on a hill πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚

How does this compute? Same stretch of hill. The session alternates a 15s sprint at 10/10 effort (then recovery jog back down) with 45s at 6/10 (recovery jog). I thought I was sprinting for the 15s intervals. I thought I was taking it a bit easier on the 45s ones. My 45s intervals are recorded as being faster than my sprints! Hilarious, if a tad perplexing. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

It is. In part, just trying to make sense of these weirdnesses. Most entertaining.πŸ˜†

I think when the Gremlins cannot stop us running, they move into the tech. 🀣 I often find the harder I think I’ve worked, the less my watch tells me I’ve done. 😳 I can arrive home dripping and it says I’ve been in Zones 1&2. Sometimes I wonder if a voice will eventually scream in my ear…. β€œGet Going!” πŸ˜„

πŸ˜‚ Hadn’t thought of that, but it’s a good thought.

Not sure but I have something similar with my local parkruns. One of them, Meadowmill, is fairly flat, the other Vogrie, has a couple of climbs which, being a 2 lapper, you have to do twice. Guess which one I have my parkrun PB on? πŸ™„πŸ€”

My local one, Chadderton Hall Park has four laps with an S shaped steep climb about three quarters of the way round. (And there's the accompanying downhill slope about one quarter of the way round.)
