This month I've started running in my lunch break, as I was struggling to fit running in at home and I have to say it's been a really positive experience, I work in london and yes there's more traffic lights to stop and wait at, but I seem to have improved my times, may because I know I've not much time, I'm now running 5km in 33 mins, shower and back at my desk with 10 minutes to spare. Very happy days 🏃♀️
Lunchtime running: This month I've started... - Bridge to 10K
Lunchtime running
Awesome work and well don’t on improving your time! I’m still working on getting to that 5k, at the moment I’m close 3k of continuing run without breaks so I’m more than half way there I guess!
Hello, well done on your 3km and striving for 5km, you will get there and be pleased as punch when you do, every run is a step closer to that goal, keep it going. 🏃♀️
Brilliant change to your plan, great to get away from your desk at lunchtime. Happy running 🤗
Thankyou so far so good! 👍
In winter that's what I tend to do too. I've no idea what I'll do when we're asked to go back to the office.
Sounds like you have the timing just right. I have often thought about running at lunch time and as I now work from home it should be easy but never get around to it. Maybe when it gets cooler.
I think I had and when you have a time limit you seem to go a bit quicker, I normally just amble along when I run from home.
Ahhh...lunch hours...I remember those. Nowadays I work for the NHS and only get 30 minutes.
