10K run at a steady pace

My daughter wanted to run this morning she had been in London the early part of the week with her husband and Children on a sight seeing few days and had eaten lots of high calorie meals so wanted to do a 10K to start her mission to lose those few pounds which had been added during the London visit.

So off we went at a steady pace from her home over the river to the harbour side enjoying the quieter part of the day before the crowds descend. We then ran through Millenium Square and on to Hotwells and down towards the Portway turning onto the riverside 5K done, Both of us were feeling good and keeping to a good pace of just under 7mins a Kilometre. So onto the bridge over the lock gates and around the redbrick Create Centre and onto the new Metro Bus roadway and into the Park and onto the bottom of Long Ashton. This is where I get lost as I don't live in this part of Bristol so I believe we ran around the bottom of Long Ashton in a loop completing 8K. Then back to Southville via the Park and Coronation Road. 10K done. A great run in 1hr 8mins. Good start to the day !!!
